RIP Whitney Houston

February 11 2012 the world lost a musical icon in Whitney Houston. Ms Houston has always been someone who captivated the world with her voice and in the later part of her life by some of her demons that seemed to haunt her. She was a diva in the truest sense on the word. She cancelled shows, was difficult to work with, and most can agree towards the end of her career her voice wasn't the same.... Saying that to say this.... She was still the greatest singer in my generation. She was the Michael Jordan of the entertainment world. Everyone was and still is compared to her but no one comes close.

I watched the Grammys yesterday and I have to say in 20 years we are in trouble... Will Nikki Manaji (sp) get a tribute? What about Lady Gaga? Ooooo I know Rihanni!! Seems like everyone now a days needs a gimmick? And when we do have someone with an ounce of talent we are quick to tear them down (Beyonce). Who are the true musicians? This years Grammys it was Taylor Swift, Adelle, Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood... Not Silly Nikki, Lady GooGoo or Raunchy Rihanni...Can y'all imagine if Whitney did that back in 89....

Lets appreciate the talent we have while they are here with us and not focus on looking for a scandal or controversial
